Leopard heals or zebra heels? This is the question that we bring forth here today as we interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast to take on this age-old fashion debate. Ever since Jane of the Jungle, women have argued over which print is a better look for heels.
As you can guess, there’s no real answer to this question. A lot of it depends on your personality, but if you’re wearing animal print pumps, chances are, you are a fashionista with a wild, fun streak in you. That said, we are not here to be an impartial observer. We’re here to draw a line in the sand…. and choose which print style is better!
The leopard print heels is more rare, than say cheetah print, and certainly more rare than the more frequently seen zebra print heels. The problem with leopard heels is that they are usually mislabeled as cheetah print, which is a totally different vibe. The other problem (or benefit, if paired with the right clothes) with leopard heels is that they are less structured. Whereby a zebra print features consistent stripes, leopard heels can be more blotchy and irregular.
The other problem with leopard print is that it’s more primal feeling, and therefore appropriate to wear in fewer occasions than zebra print may be. Whereby all animal prints are limited in their scope (you shouldn’t wear them every day), leopard print heels are even more narrow focused and only suitable to wear at the most wild events.
For this reason alone, we are recommending the zebra heels win out if you can only buy one pair of animal print shoe. As we all know, sometimes getting enough use out of your heel collection can be tough – what looks good when trying it on in the store, can often be difficult to pair with the clothes in your closet. Zebra print heels will allow you to get the wild look you’re going for, with the flexibility to wear them more frequently than a leopard heel.
